Hot Chocolate Mug Brownie

When I first heard this recipe I was so excited to make such a yummy dessert and It didn't disappoint!

Here are the supplies you will need:
  • A microwaveable mug
  • Fork or spoon
  • Microwave
  • 2 packets of Hot Chocolate
  • 2 TBPS Canola oil
  • 3 TBPS Water
  • 1/4 TSP Vanilla Extract
  • A Handful of semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Powdered sugar for the top

Start by pouring 2 packets of your favorite hot chocolate into a microwave safe mug.

After you pour your hot cocoa powder into your mug, mix it with 4 TBSP all-purpose flour.

Once your dry ingredients are well combined, add in your oil, water, and vanilla.

Mix until you are left with a semi-runny batter.

Add your chocolate chips and mix until well combined.

Before Microwaving, make sure you have mixed all the ingredients.

Cook in a microwave for about 2 minutes, to check and make sure it is done, you can stick a toothpick in the middle and when you pull it out, if there is batter on it, it's not done.  When it comes out clean, your brownie is done!

Sprinkle with powdered sugar for finishing touches and enjoy!

The Outcome

This was really fun to make!  I love making simple yet delicious things.  My brownie turned out delicious and was the perfect serving size.  It took me about 5 minutes to make, not including cook time.  The only real problems I had were, me being clumsy and spilling hot chocolate powder!  These would be great for a family night when you want a little treat, home movies, parties, everyone can make their own and help out and then you can enjoy it together! I would definitely make this again.
