Importance of a Portfolio

Why do you think it's important to have a portfolio?  I think it's important to have a portfolio because it tracks your progress.  Having a portfolio helps me see what I have done and what I can do better.  It's also important because, in lots of job interviews, they ask for a portfolio.  I can start building my portfolio now so when I'm older I will be prepared for when I need to use it.  I can't wait to start using and building my portfolio for the future!
