Perfect pan fried chicken for one!
Ingredients:
1/4 C Flour
1/2 TSP Pepper
1 TSP Seasoning Salt
1 Chicken Breast
Salt
Start by salting your chicken really lightly. Stick it in the fridge while you make the flour mixture.
Mix the flour, seasoning salt, and pepper to create a breading for your chicken.
Put the flour mix on a plate or bag to easily cover your chicken.
Stick your chicken in the fridge to chill for about 20-30 minutes.
One cold, put your chicken in the flour mixture one last time. Put it back in the fridge for another 60 minutes.
Line a tray with a layer of paper towels or napkins. Add a paper bag on top of that. This helps get all the oil out of the chicken once it is done frying.
Put oil in your pan so it coats the bottom.
Heat up your oil so that when you put your chicken in the pan it will start sizzling!
To know if your chicken is cooked on the inside, you can use a food thermometer. Put it into the thickest part of your chicken breast and it should be about 160 degrees when cooked.
Look for a nice crispy skin!
Cut it up and you're done!
I served mine with a side of rice and veggies.
Enjoy!
-The Outcome-
This chicken was delicious! It was super simple and and fast to make. The only time consuming thing was chilling the chicken and the cook time. Prep and everything else was super simple. It had a nice flavor. It could practically go with any other flavors! Hope you make it and enjoy!
